WARDOGS RCON, admin and whitelist tools — in a browser

A WARDOGS dedicated server ships with one RCON password, and that password can do everything: read the scoreboard, kick, ban, end the match, replace the whole configuration. BulletMeta sits in front of it so each admin gets a login, a role and an audit trail instead — and your community's matches land on the public leaderboards.

WARDOGS RCON without sharing the password

You paste your server's address and its RCON password once. From then on BulletMeta dials out to the server over the game's own HTTP interface — there is nothing to install on the box and nothing about your hosting has to change. The password goes into a secret manager, never into our database and never into a browser; the people using the console never see it.

Every admin signs in with their own account and acts within their own role. What they can do from the live page:

  • See who is on right now — faction, kills, deaths, cash, ping — with the match clock and the current and next map.
  • Kick, message, switch team, and ban straight from the roster, with a confirm on the permanent one.
  • Broadcast to the server, with saved presets for the messages you send every night.
  • Change map now or set the next map, from the rotation the server itself reports.
  • Edit the server configuration by field, with every applied revision kept, a diff of which keys changed, and a conflict check so two admins cannot overwrite each other silently.

Admin roles, seats and two-factor

A community starts with an owner, admins and moderators, each with a fixed set of permissions on a resource-by-action matrix — servers, config, sanctions, whitelist, members, events. You can edit the built-in roles or add your own, and give a moderator the kick without the ban, or the whitelist without the config.

Admins join by a one-time invite link or by name. A Discord role can map onto one of your roles so a seat appears when somebody gets the role in your guild and goes when they lose it. Two-factor (TOTP) can be required for everybody who opens the console, and enterprise communities can put their own identity provider in front of it.

Whitelist and reserved slots across every server you run

A whitelist grant is free and belongs to the community, never to a slot somebody bought. You grant it to a player, to a clan — whose roster then keeps the grant in step as members come and go — or to everybody holding one of your admin roles, and BulletMeta writes the result to the reserved-slot list on every server you run. When a server refuses the push, the grant still saves and the console tells you which box said no.

Seeding rules hand out whitelist automatically: whoever spends the most time seeding the server, or earns the most points doing it, gets a slot for a while without an admin touching anything. A rule is saved off and turned on as its own step, so having the feature grants nobody anything by accident.

Ban lists and sanctions with evidence

A ban goes to the server the moment it is created — reaction time first — and is finalized separately: with a screenshot or a link attached it is final at once; without, it stays applied but flagged as needing evidence until somebody adds some or stands behind it anyway. Warns and kicks are recorded the same way, and a sanction can be lifted in either state.

Beside your own bans you can subscribe to shared ban lists, for the whole community or one server at a time, and the console shows what each list contributes. Nothing on this site ever charges a player for a way back onto somebody else's server.

A searchable audit log, on every plan

Every admin action is written to the audit log in the same transaction as the change, and a command is not sent to the server until that row exists. Refusals are logged too — who tried what and why it was not allowed — and when the server could not be reached, the same row is marked failed, so 'authorized' and 'happened' never blur into each other.

Search it by action, player, admin, reason or correlation id. What it records are names and facts — which keys changed, which player, which faction — never a whispered message, a kick reason or a configuration value.

Your matches on the public WARDOGS leaderboards

A server can be registered for stats only, free and without using a plan slot: BulletMeta reads what the server already reports every few seconds — the scoreboard, joins and leaves, the kill feed — and turns finished matches into careers, Glicko-2 ratings, K/D, headshots, longest shots and weapon stats on the boards every player checks. Enrollment is approved by support, so a private scrim box stays out unless its operator asks.

Your own console gets the same numbers for every player who ever joined — playtime, seeding time, matches, K/D, rating and open sanctions — with a search by name or SteamID.

Events, Discord and automations

Events are unlimited on every plan: draft, publish, take registrations, and announce to your own Discord when the community's guild is connected. Automations are a small graph — a trigger such as a schedule, a player joining or seeding starting; conditions on player count, map, time window or whitelist; then a broadcast, a message to the player, a kick or the next map — that you can dry-run against the live server before turning it on.

Questions operators ask

Do I need to install anything on my WARDOGS server?
No. You paste the server's address and RCON password once; BulletMeta connects outward over the game's own HTTP interface. There is no agent on the box, no self-hosting, and nothing about your hosting has to change.
Does it work with servers from QONZER, BisectHosting or xREALM?
It works with any WARDOGS dedicated server whose RCON address and password your host gives you — that is the whole integration. The three approved hosts all do.
Can my admins see the RCON password?
No. The password lives in a secret manager and is used by BulletMeta's own service to talk to the server. Admins sign in with their own accounts and act within their roles; the configuration editor masks the password field, and the audit log never records it.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. One server with every admin tool is free, with no payment method, and stats-only servers are free without limit. Paid plans add servers and admin seats.
Do you sell whitelist slots or server access?
No. Whitelist grants are the community's to hand out, as many as it likes, at no cost — to a player, a clan or a role. Nothing on BulletMeta sells a player a way onto somebody else's server.
Which matches show up on the public leaderboards?
Matches on servers whose operator asked for stats enrollment and had it approved. Registered servers start out of public stats, so a private event or scrim box is not published unless its community wants it to be.
Is BulletMeta affiliated with Bulkhead or Team17?
No. BulletMeta is an independent platform for the communities that run WARDOGS servers. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Bulkhead Interactive or Team17.
